His work focuses on how public organisations can strengthen their capacity to anticipate, respond to and recover from financial challenges.
Professor Ileana Steccolini

Professor Ileana Steccolini is a professor of Accounting and Public Management and is one of Europe's leading scholars in public sector accounting and financial management. Her internationally recognised research focuses on governance, public financial resilience and organisational responses to periods of uncertainty. She has led numerous international research projects and has published extensively in the field of public management. She is the Editor-in-Chief of Financial Accountability & Management, the top journal in public sector accounting, accountability and financial management. She is also the President of the International Research Society of Public Management.
